Are you looking for a long term part-time role where no two days are the same? If so we’re seeking a dependable and enthusiastic individual to join our small, supportive team as soon as possible.

About the Role:

This role involves being part of our after-school club, which currently runs Monday to Thursday during term time from 3:00 pm to 5:00/5:30 pm. There’s also the potential to take on additional hours during school holidays and on an as-needed basis.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with children in a rewarding and engaging environment, helping them grow their confidence and creativity through fun engaging and creative activities.

Who We’re Looking For:

Someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and encouraging them to achieve their creative goals.
  • Has a caring nature.
  • Enjoys arts and crafts, you do not need to be an artist, being creative, adaptable, and being able to think on your feet is more important.
  • Is reliable & responsible with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Has life experience and ideally engaging with children forms part of your day.
  • You don’t mind a lively environment and enjoy being part of a close-knit team.
  • Enjoy walking (we operate a walking bus).

What You’ll Need:

  • Ideally, you’ll already have an enhanced DBS check, but if not, we can help arrange this for you.
  • A positive and understanding can do attitude
  • The ability to help, nurture, listen, encourage and be involved with multiple activities/projects at the same time.
  • Life experience.

Job Type: Part-time

  • Pay: £11.44 per hour (increasing to £12.21 from April – we follow the living wage)
  • Expected hours: 8 per week
